Riya created an original watercolour on paper artwork for me. She based the painting on a story I had shared about my sleeping dog and a toad who hopped onto his back for a nap. She captured this scene with the perfect amount of whimsy and serenity. It remains a treasured work that I keep at my home.
Riya has the ability to capture the essence of what you want to convey and portray it in her unique illustrative style. I also admire how clearly her work conveys the original idea in a stylised manner.

I’ve known Riya Singh since over 10 years and I’ve seen her journey as an artist grow. From making me birthday cards to actually commissioning some artworks for me. It’s been a very easy artist and a client relationship as she can almost read your mind with a couple of sentences you give her as a brief. She makes your imagination even better. Her art is a touch of whimsy in your life. She has made two art pieces of my two cats which I look at everyday and just can’t help but think how talented she is.
Absolutely in love with her work and it’s refreshing to see how in love she is with her work as well.
